Badimalika & Tribeni Patan, Bajura (via Kalikot route)

Badimalika, the dream destination, holy and beautiful. After making multiple plans to visit this beautiful destination year after year, we are finally in Badimalika. And once we were there, we found out the pictures of the landscapes we’re drooling about were actually Tribeni Patan. We’ve also taken a different route to reach Badimalika. We went through Kalikot instead of the popular and known route which goes from Bajura. The reason we chose Kalikot is Mr. Chhapesh Bogati, who invited us for the trip. We spent a couple of days with his family in Mumra and had a great time. The distance from Mumra to Badimalika is only 16 km. but the trails were treacherous. At one point, after Maurapani to be precise, we literally hiked through a cliff for about two hours. It was a near death experience with no trails and hundreds of meters to fall below. Nonetheless, after all the hardships, we were rewarded with the beautiful sight of Tribenipatan and the blessings of the holy Badimalika.
